Retro Candy

The demand for retro candy in the last decade has been astounding. Adults, missing their favorite childhood candies, began to search for them. Some of them were still being made, but only in small amounts. As these began to be bought as fast as they were produced, companies decided to come out with other discontinued candies.

A lot of younger people seem to think this candy is new the first time they see it. It really adds something to it when they find out that this is the same candy their parents or grandparents enjoyed when they were young. It can also be a great way to show kids a little of what life was like “back in the day.”

Unfortunately, not all retro candy can be brought out again for various reasons. But many nostalgic candies have been brought back to the delight of their old fans and a whole generation of new ones. Also, some old candies have been brought back under new names and packages.
